The majority of Christians wouldn't dare approach me, much less care for me or love me, based solely on my appearance. I come from a Christian family and I know they (usually) mean well. But I don't hate the people. I hate the religion they've been surrounded by. I don't like The Bible. Yahweh is an asshole. Even if he presented himself to us, and proclaimed his glory for the world to see, I would refuse to follow him. And I'm not trying to sound edgy. He's just a huge dick. Satan is more reasonable and as previously stated here on TC a whe ago, he was the first humanitarian!

I don't claim to know the nature of dead Jesus. I am more concerned with trying to know the living nature and perceived reality which surrounds me. I don't want to base my life on a book written by tuskan raiders and edited by child molestors. I want to form my own ideas about reality and expand my own conscious. Something which seems to be looked down on by the vast majority, who want you to just follow their religion. Okay, okay.

The point is, I don't want to base my life off of someone else's beliefs. I want to form my own, just like they did, and spare the human race another holy book.
