Yup, had them for going on 9 years now, down to me arse :) Frizzy is good for dreads, mine just kind of go into little ringlets, used to have girls be jealous of my hair back when I was growing it out.

35, mostly chunky but they vary in size a little. Fatter dreads to have less problems with wear and tear I find. 50 seems like a lot, that would thin mine out quite a bit. I'm blond though, we have less hair on our heads compared to darker haired peoples.

I love chunky ones. they are easier to care for now I dont feel that bad lol! I keep getting new small dreads growing. I started off with 45. dreads are awesome...I didnt know there was another dreadhead around. thats cool

I started off with over 40, a few have fused together over the years. Plus I braided 3 difficult ones at the back together to see what would happen and they formed one giant superdread, it's like a fucking rope. I've considered doing that with all of them and just dropping down a dozen massive ones lol. Only realised you had dreads a couple months ago, been meaning to ask you about them.

This is from about a year and a half ago, I've had the ends tidied up since then. They become a bit of an endurance trial after a while, they get everywhere and washing / drying them is an ordeal, not getting rid of them any time soon though, love having them. I'd say you should post a pic too but there seems to be too many people on this site who REALLY want pictures of you, so don't worry about it.

Thanks :) Yeah, drying is the time killer, gotta go at mine with a hair dryer for a good hour just to make sure. When I wash them they soak up so much water it's hard to keep my head from being pulled down by the weight of them. Just keep working the roots, you'll get to this length eventually, probably quicker than I did even.

I prefer baths over showers, so I just kinda let them float around me most of the time, takes the weight off. Yeah, my hair shortened by about half the length when I got them done.
